About Us

Jim Bender Inc. was started in the spring of 1984, when Jim Bender Sr. had a vision and goal to deliver quality, punctual service to customers from New England to the Rockies. Since that time, Jim Bender Inc. has continued to grow, and takes pride in its on-time quality deliveries.

We also take great pride in our employees and drivers, so if you're looking to start your truck driving career, you've come to the right place.

At Jim Bender Inc., we like to keep things simple and straight-forward. Here are just a few remarkable notes about our policies and practice:

  • Over-the-road revenue is generated by a unique relay system that provides our drivers with a legal dispatch
  • Our workers are out 5 days, home 2 days
  • We keep consistent weekly work schedules and miles, and mandate a 34-hr reset at home each week
  • Our turnover rate is 1/3 of the industry average
  • Currently 20 drivers have received our company 'Over One Million Mile Award' (a 3-day cruise to the Bahamas)

Where We Go

Our over-the-road drivers travel a unique relay system on the I-80 corridor, from the foothills of the Rockies to the beautiful New England coast.

Our Benefits

Our road drivers average $50,000 - $70,000 annually. We offer mileage pay of 45-47 cents per mile for East Coast drivers or 40-42 cents per mile for Colorado drivers. We also offer paid vacation time, 100% paid health, life, & dental insurance, as well as a company 401k with a 33% match.

 What Makes Us Different

We believe in giving our customers the best quality service in the industry, and treat our drivers as valid family members instead of I.D. numbers. Our trucking company offers drivers the best available benefits and sustained home time.
